CAREER CONNECTION
WACES will be sponsoring a Career Connection Saturday morning of the 2018 conference (Nov. 8-10) for universities with faculty positions available in Counselor Education. During the Career Connection event, university representatives will have an opportunity to give 10-minute Job Talk to candidates, including descriptions of the position, program, and university. Afterwards, candidates will be able to mingle with participating university representatives. Additionally, WACES will be providing space for university representatives to meet with potential candidates in a comfortable atmosphere throughout the entire conference. Position descriptions will be posted ahead of the Career Connection and candidates will be given the opportunity to upload their curriculum vitae for universities to view. This service is free to employers as well as candidates. Please note the directions below on how you can participate in this unique opportunity.
FOR CANDIDATES
Each candidate must e-mail Heather Dahl ([email protected]), privately, indicating that you are seeking employment for the following academic year. You will upload a current vita in abbreviated form, no longer than 2 pages, to Google Drive at https://drive.google.com/open?id=1TOZqkrNsOGJhrd-h4clR1umSSA9W3FST.Please note that anyone can access this Google folder with a link. On your CV, please add a note at the top indicating how university representatives can contact you while at the conference. Candidates are encouraged to bring copies of their full vita to the conference, so that they can hand them to university representatives.
